Product Changes & Notification

Value Plastics Policy – Product Changes for Products Offered for General Sale (Catalog Products)

Value Plastics policy is to notify customers for product changes related to form, fit or function that affect a customer service (CSP) or acceptance print, product specification, or changes an external dimension of the product, possibly including dimensions not identified on a customer service print. Examples of such changes most often include raw materials, physical appearance and changes to specified dimensions.

Value Plastics endeavors to communicate changes 90 days before implementation. Sometimes shorter notification times are unavoidable, and we ask for your understanding in such cases.

Process adjustments and documentation updates are considered part of Value Plastics’ normal course of business and do not initiate customer notification in and of themselves.

This policy does not apply to custom products, those products generally offered for sale to one customer only and for which Value Plastics requires a signed customer print prior to initial manufacturing. All custom product changes are approved by the customer prior to implementation.

Notification is by email only to all customers that have purchased an affected product in the previous 24 months, followed by posting in this location on the Value Plastics website. No action by the customer is required to receive notifications on any product(s) purchased from Value Plastics. Product change notices are removed from this site and archived after they have been posted for 24 months.
