Do you have part drawings?
Yes, our drawings may be found on line in our part drawing library.
Do you provide CAD drawings?
We do not generally offer solid model drawings of our components to the public. If you have a special circumstance, please contact our Sales Department who will review the request upon completion of a confidentiality agreement.
What are your luer standards?
Value Plastics luer tapers are made to the ISO 594-1 standard, and may be connected to other luers meeting ISO standards. Please test your application to verify the performance of the interconnection.
Where can I get more information on resin?
Use our searchable database of resin information in the technical section of the website.
What is the purity of your resin?
All products manufactured by Value Plastics Inc. are manufactured from 100% virgin raw materials and colorants. No mold release or other additives are used under any circumstances.
What is the chemical resistance of your product resin?
Reference our list of resin information.
Do you offer Class VI materials?
Many of our resins are USP Classification VI. Reference our list of resin properties. Note: Only the resins meet USP Class VI. The products are not tested.
Where do I find the expiration date for Value Plastics products?
Value Plastics doesn't publish an expiration date for any of its products.
As long as the products are stored out of direct sunlight or another source of UV radiation, the shelf life is indefinite. Exceptions are made for products incorporating elastomers such as o-rings in the BPA, BPF and XQC Series products; in those products, product life is governed by the life of the o-ring, generally 10 years.
Value Plastics follows the recommendations of its resin suppliers. For further information on specific materials, contact the Technical Service departments of the specific resin suppliers listed in the Value Plastics catalog or website.
Can I be notified if you make a change to an existing product?
Product changes are made at the sole discretion of Value Plastics and are
controlled by Value Plastics Engineering Change Order system. Notification is by
email only to all customers that have purchased an affected product in the
previous 24 months, followed by posting on the Value Plastics website. No action
by the customer is required to receive notifications on any product(s) purchased
from Value Plastics
