Ready for Recovery

The 2010 Medical Design & Manufacturing West (MD&M West) tradeshow was a huge success for Value Plastics this year. As the first big medical device show of the year and the largest event of its kind in the world, MD&M West is the place to learn about new advances in the design and manufacture of medical products. Attendance was estimated to include 16,000 medical product development professionals.

We were pleased to find that attendees and exhibitors were up this year, both in terms of attendance and attitude. The prevailing sentiment was that 2010 has already begun with a positive uptick in demand, manufacturing and new development projects.

We had many requests for new quotations, design assistance and the latest new product offerings on display. Large and small medical device designers and manufacturers were happy to see and hear that onceagain Value Plastics is leading the way into a more positive economic period.

The rest of our domestic trade show schedule for this year takes us to Interphex, MD&M East, BioProcess International and MD&M Minneapolis. Internationally, we will be attending several shows during 2010, including events in Japan, China, the U.K., Ireland and Germany.

We look forward to seeing you at one or more of these events and hope that the optimism and momentum evident in Anaheim in February carries through the rest of the year and beyond.
